A. There will be an extra charge of $40.00 for any kind of consultation. It means when you finish your consultation you need to pay the full fee including any Medicare fees and the rebate will be sent to Medicare and they will put it into your bank account or send out a cheque if you do not have your bank details registered with Medicare.
A. We accept payment from any kind of Visa, Master Card, Debit or Credit card. However, we do not receive any cash as a method of payment due to the pandemic.
A. After finishing your consultation, meet our reception team, they will process the bill.
A. If you have a debit card with you our reception team would be able to give you the medicare rebate amount straight back to the debit card account. In case if you donot have a physical card we still can process your rebate in Apple pay, Samsung pay (in some cases), Google Pay (in some case). You can still use your credit card to pay the full amount, however, we need a debit card to process the rebate (please note: most of the credit card has got a debit account linked with, we can consider that account to provide you the rebate back).
A. In this case we will charge you the full amount and give you a Tax invoice. You can lodge the claim using your Medicare app (available in Google Store or Apple Play). Medicare generally will pay you back within 24-72 hours in your designated account.
A. Unfortunately we do not accept any cash payment in our clinic.
A. Yes, a $40 gap fee is applicable for a telehealth appointment. Before your appointment, you will receive an automated message to keep your payment details ready to pay for the appointment. After finishing your appointment you will be charged from your designated payment method. A paid invoice will be sent to you which you can use to get your Medicare rebate back.
A. We are completely aware of the current situation due to the pandemic. If someone is facing financial difficulties you are welcome to talk to the visiting GP.
A. We are closely monitoring the situation and trying to bridge the gap that makes us take this decision. Once it has been fixed we will be returning to our previous billing process.
